Questionnaire

This year at the GRC, we had folks fill out a questionnaire. It was a lot of fun, and educational, to read through them. Here they are compiled in an anonymous way, it captures the spirit of the people that attend the GRC! Thanks everyone for participating, and apologize for any translation errors. Handwriting isn't what it used to be!!  Enjoy!

    Suggestions

  • Printed maps to the events. Printed copies of the charts that are projected during the talks would be very helpful when they are complex and too small to read on the screen.
  • Would be nice to have a list of the attendees with contact info—maybe subsequent GRC's could include in registration materials a box to check if it is okay to include in this list. I understand privacy issues….
  • Video tap sessions/put on a private youtube channel
  • Network this group of affiliates to form a network feed-on-line
  • Don't forget top of the hour legal ID. Wash your hands. Don't drive slowly in the left lane.
  • Give more time to the sessions, all of the session so far have gone over time.
  • Be kind. Eat chocolate. Love dogs. Spread peace.
  • GRC to keep one domain name versus yearly change.
  • We've had success beyond what was expected or deserved by a focus on building relationships with first responders (sheriff, fire department, emergency management) and building broad bipartisan relationships rather than focusing on countering right-wing media with left-wing media. We work on rebuilding relationships across partisan lines. Because we took that approach, we've raised 100K in 4 grants already received, and just were notified of receiving another grant, this time for 20K to fund backup generators and fuel. One-sided media, even if it is our side, is part of what is fueling the partisanship that is part of why conservatives and liberals understand one another-and like one another- less and less.
